Brackets

The outdoor condensor seen above is mounted on brackets for one of our Builders Direct homes. The unit is mounted on brackets for a number of reasons. Namely being improved serviceability, and also to significantly reduce the chance of rust at the bottom of the condensor, due to water and dust ingress if mounted on the floor.

Parbloc

A parbloc is a mounting method where the outdoor condensor is mounted on two equally sized pieces of sheet metal. They're designed to allow the unit to remain off the ground whilst being a cheaper alternative to wall brackets.

Top Hat

Tophats, similar to parblocs, are two equally sized pieces of sheet metal that are designed to keep the outdoor condensor off the ground. Where they differ from parblocs is that tophats can be customised to suit a particular angle of a roof, simplifying the installation and future servicing of roof-mounted air conditioners.
